Benefits of taking CBD

Cannabidiol is a natural compound found in cannabis. Also known as CBD, cannabidiol is a breakthrough nutritional supplement and has become quite popular as an alternative to other over the counter wellness products.

There are many benefits to taking a daily serving of CBD from hemp oil products, but the most exciting among them is that a CBD oil supplement helps augment the body’s naturally occurring endocannabinoids, increasing the body’s ability to promote homeostasis within its systems.

Cannabinoids are a class of active chemical compounds produced by the cannabis plant. These cannabinoids act on cannabinoid receptors located in our cells as part of the endocannabinoid system and alter the release of neurotransmitters in the brain. The endocannabinoid system predominantly consists of two endocannabinoid receptors: CB1, located in the central nervous system, and CB2, found throughout the peripheral nervous system.

There are over 100 presently discovered cannabinoids, which are largely responsible for the effects cannabis has on the body. Common cannabinoids include tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), cannabidiol (CBD), cannabinol (CBN), and cannabigerol (CBG). Cannabinoids work together with the body’s endocannabinoid system to regulate the body’s natural functions – including mood, sleep, appetite, and immune response.

Once the endocannabinoid system is supplemented in this way, it is able to function more efficiently, optimizing the body’s performance each day. Although it is not critical to supplement the endocannabinoid system daily, doing so may increase the effectiveness of CBD and the endocannabinoid system.

Because the CBD oil products we sell are categorized as dietary supplements in the United States, we only purchase from sources who comply with the FDA’s DSHEA guidelines and cannot endorse any specific medical benefits of CBD or our hemp oil. To further comply with FDA regulations, our vendor does not list a Recommended Daily Intake (RDI) of our own, nor do they provide a Daily Value (%DV) for any of our products. We encourage you to browse the thousands of reputable studies regarding CBD published online and talk with your doctor to see if a CBD supplement is right for you.

Does Lipo Laser Work?

Who Can Try Lipo Laser

The ideal candidate for laser fat removal is someone already committed to making healthy lifestyle changes and who doesn't have a lot of weight to lose but is more concerned about problem areas, particularly in the hips, waist, and thighs. This is not useful for people who are obese or looking to lose a lot of weight, but it works great for tweaking individual body parts after losing weight or having plastic surgery,

You also need to have enough time in your schedule to commit to multiple sessions each week for several weeks. Body By Lipo website recommends not going more than 48 hours between treatments for best results.

Laser fat-removal therapies are not recommended for women who are pregnant or trying to become pregnant, or for people who have pacemakers. The laser also won't address any underlying metabolic, hormonal, or other physical issues that may have caused the weight gain, so you should see your doctor first.

How Laser Fat Removal Works

Lipo Laser offers a noninvasive treatment for fat, targeting fat cells while sparing other tissues in the body. The BBL Laser works by aiming lasers specifically designed to puncture holes in your fat cells at your lower body. BBL says their lasers slowly perforate the cells so that they deflate. (Don't worry, it's completely painless.) Your body keeps all the fat cells—a good thing since removing fat cells can have unintended consequences like the fat reappearing in other places, as seen in recent studies on liposuction—but they're just much smaller. The fat is then released into your interstitial fluid and flushed out by your lymphatic system. Because we store our toxins in our fat, this also has a cleansing effect on the body.

What It Feels Like

You start by undressing your lower half, leaving your underwear on if you wish. You then lie on the table and the technician adjusts the octopus-like paddles to point the lasers at the specific spots you're trying to shrink. And that's it! You lie there while the lasers work their magic, with most sessions lasting between 20 and 40 minutes. Because the BBL Laser is a "cold" laser, patients don't feel a thing.  There is no pain, swelling, tenderness, or redness, so there is also no downtime. Unlike more invasive fat-removal treatments, you can immediately go back to work, exercising or whatever else your day holds.

Afterward, however, you may feel something. Because the laser is causing your fat cells to release their contents into your bloodstream, you may feel a little tired, woozy, or sick afterward, particularly if you're not drinking enough water. The water is key to flushing the fat and toxins out of your system,

Lipo Laser Doesn't Work Alone

This is definitely not a miracle cure. This is complementary medicine, not a cure-all. It's designed to make your healthy eating and exercise more effective, especially if you're at a point where you've plateaued. You still have to do the work; it just enhances your results. Lipo Laser clients  must eat a very clean diet.

So, Does Lipo Laser Work?

Research on using laser therapies for weight loss is relatively rare and what does exist is often funded by the laser companies themselves, perhaps making it biased. However, an independent 2013 study of over 2,000 subjects found that using laser lipolysis (a different therapy than the BBL) slightly decreased fat and increased collagen production, making skin look both tighter and younger. The researchers noted that laser fat removal worked best in conjunction with standard liposuction rather than when used alone.

A small clinical study found that patients lost an average of an inch off their waist and hips and an additional two centimeters from each leg. However, most of the patients regained at least some of the inches just two weeks after stopping the treatment. The FDA had enough faith in the treatment to approve it for general use in the U.S.

What Happens During My Appointment?

So many people are brand new to hearing about non-invasive laser liposuction alternative, so we are always getting people who want to know what an appointment entails.

A standard appointment lasts 45 minutes. The appointment starts with your technician getting you on the scale to get your current weight and BMI. This is to ensure there has not been a weight gain since the previous session which could require additional laser lipo sessions or other interventions to aid in body contouring. Next your technician will measure across the area you're having treated, small dots will be made along the tape to ensure your after measurements are accurately placed.

Once your technician has documented your weight, BMI, and measurements you'll lay down and relax on a comfortable massage table! Paddles will be placed on the area you're wanting to treat and then you will relax for 20 minutes. You can ask questions, talk about your week, or tell us more about your goals- we'll be by your side the whole time!

Once the 20 minutes is up your technician will remove and sanitize the paddles. You'll again be measured along the marks made before the treatment and then comes the best part- you will learn how many inches you lost!

Once you get your final measurement you'll step on the vibration platform which does exactly what it sounds like- it vibrates! Vibration platforms force your muscles to contract and relax dozens of times each second. This process aids in weight loss, burns fat, and tones muscle too!

After all of that, we'll book your next appointment and see you next time!

Are the Results Permanent?

We are also frequently asked if results are permanent. Results of laser lipo are long lasting provided the client maintains a stable weight and general fitness! If an extreme amount of weight is gained following treatment it is possible for fat to return to the treatment area. Laser lipo is a great treatment option for those looking for immediate results they can see and feel after each session.

What Kind of Results Should I Expect?

This is the most commonly asked question, and the answer can vary based on a variety of factors. Those factors include water or food consumption leading up to your appointment, as well as your diet and exercise following your appointment. On average our clients lose one inch per single session! (based on an average of our last 20 clients who received treatment on their abdominal area, average inch loss was 0.99 inches per session) It’s also common for clients to lose an increasing amount of inches as sessions continue.
